National Relief™ comes in at number two and they are a New York based debt settlement company. If by some chance our number one company is not albe to help you out then National Relief is a good option. National's program is very detailed and we liked their client friendly program because it was very easy to reach their customer service department. National's program is result oriented and they have a very professional sales staff looking out for your best interest. We also liked the fact that National can help you with multiple forms of debt relief including debt settlement, debt management, and bankruptcy.

State Coverage

National Relief provides access to debt relief programs in 40 states.  This is a good coverage of states, but not the most of the companies we have reviewed.

National Relief also offers both a debt settlement program and a debt management program. 

Associations

National Relief is a member of TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies), AFCC (American Fair Credit Council).  These are the two most important industry associations, but we felt National Relief could have a few more.

Program Costs

National Relief charges approximately 25% of the enrolled debt.  This is a little higher than most companies, however, it is a non-advance fee program, so you don’t pay till they have done something for you.
